Job Purpose

The selected senior technical experts will be included in ProLeap Development Group’s permanent expert roster for project-based and consultancy assignments. Experts will contribute to designing and implementing solutions across various humanitarian and development contexts, ensuring sustainable impact through innovative and data-driven approaches.

We are looking for experts with experience in one or more of the following technical areas:

  • Food Security, Agriculture and Livelihood (FSAL)

  • Protection and Safeguarding

  • Governance
  • Infrastructure
  • Economic Growth
  • Stabilization & Resilience
  • Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
  • Climate and Environment.
  • Local & Regional Governance Strengthening
  • Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion
  • Financial auditing
  • Organizational development and efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in their respective fields to design and implement high-impact development solutions.
  • Lead and support technical inputs for program design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Contribute to proposal development efforts by drafting technical sections and methodologies.
  • Engage with donors, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and partnerships.
  • Develop and oversee capacity-building initiatives for local partners, communities, and field teams.
  • Ensure alignment of programming with donor expectations, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Conduct field assessments, research, and technical evaluations to inform program strategies.
  • Support policy development and institutional strengthening efforts at local, regional, and national levels.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and learning within ProLeap and among clients.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8  years or equivalent in work experience in a relevant technical sector.
  • University degree in a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience working in humanitarian, development, or fragile contexts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with host governments, local and international NGOs, and donors.
  • Experience with proposal development, project management, and technical advisory roles.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic, French, or Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of specific donor M&E requirements (e.g., USAID, ECHO, FCDO, AFD, GFFO, BMZ, EU, UN, GIZ).
